We are Children of the Lord.

Welcome back. How you guys doing?

Me, I’m doin’ all right. I just got back from a fun weekend in Waco. Had some good times, saw lots of cool people, just in general had a good time hanging out.

Chris and JL moved out of the D-House for the fall, and I went over to Chris’ place on Friday night. It’s a pretty cool place, and once Chris gets done fixin’ her up, she’s gonna be really nice. The sad part is that he has to give up Marley. The people he’s renting it from prohibit dobermans, rottweilers, and pit bulls (which is what Marley is) because they’re apparently dangerous. Doesn’t have anything to do with the fact of how they’re raised and that a lot of complete assholes raise pitbulls to fight, no of course not. I hate stupidity, and this is nothing but. Marley is a puppy for crying out loud, and a very sweet one. Argh. I hate it when people get paranoid and stupid as a result of said paranoia.

We met up with Josh, Angie, and Smith for dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. I’ve never been there before, and it was darn good. The cheesecake for desert wasn’t bad either, heh.

We decided to go see the Simpsons movie that night, since Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix had no late night showings. The movie is quite funny, but what was even more amusing was the absolute insanity of the audience. They would not shut UP. Halfway through the movie, this couple gets into a fight, screaming at each other! Anytime something suprising happened during the movie, one or two people would always have to scream something out. “See, I tol’ you!” or just “Daaaamn!” or something else stupid like that. Some woman came back in the theatre and started yellin’ “KEITH, let’s GO!!” until some kid behind us got up and left. I almost feel like I need to see the movie again, I might have missed something for all the yelling.

Saturday I slept waaaaaaaaaaaay in until Josh got off work and we went out to lunch with Kyle and his girlfriend Wendy. She’s a very nice girl, so i got no idea why she puts up with Kyle, heh heh. After that, we hit up Bankstons. I grabbed all the issues of Star Wars comics that I was behind on (by the way Josh, I left them there, keep an eye on em for me, okay? Thanks). We headed back to Kyle’s place and played an old puzzle game called the Adventures of Lolo on the Wii marketplace. Josh and I ran out to Mardel later that day…I FINALLY got the new Project 86 album. So far, it’s not bad. It’ll grow on me, but I also got 2 John Rueben CDs, so that coupled with all the music I “borrowed” from Josh means I have a lot to listen to! I hung out with Chris and Kelley later that night, poor guys were pretty stressed out from their day.

All in all, I had a good weekend. These times are a comin’ to an end soon enough though. With Chris having moved out already and Josh moving out in another 2 months, soon there shall be no more D-house to crash at! Interesting times are ahead indeed.

So I now have Project 86’s new album, Rival Factions, two John Rueben CDs (Are We There Yet and Professional Rapper), Audio Adrenaline’s Until My Heart Caves In, Flyleaf’s self-titled album, Day of Fire’s Cut and Move, and a smattering of random songs that I think are awesome, including Bring Me to Life by Evanescence, In the End by Linkin Park, the Jurassic Park theme, and the collected Silly Songs With Larry. Arrrrrrrrr…the booty be plentiful this day mateys.

Well, I should probably get back to work. You guys have a good day.
